Painting and drywall
Surface preparation, because paint does not hide anything for long.
Drywall and paint are the finish everyone sees and the first thing that gives away a rushed job. Nail pops, a seam that telegraphs, a line that wanders at the ceiling.
The preparation is most of the labor and almost all of the result.
Typical scope
- Drywall hanging, taping, and finishing
- Repairing damage, cracks, and nail pops
- Texture matching, and removing textured ceilings
- Interior painting, including trim and doors
- Exterior painting and preparation
- Caulking and surface preparation
Common questions
Can you remove a textured ceiling?
Yes, and we also match texture where only part of a ceiling or wall is being repaired.
Why so much preparation before painting?
Because paint does not hide anything for long. Cracks, nail pops, and damaged drywall are repaired and the surface is caulked and prepared first, which is most of the labor and all of the difference a year later.
Do you paint outside as well as inside?
Yes. Exterior painting and the preparation it needs, as well as interior work including trim and doors.
